Rain Rain Go Away

It is quite interesting to note how the heavy downpour became a sunny day on 2 ocassions when I was on my way to church for mass..

It started raining v heavily when I was about to knock off frm work. My plan was actually to attend mass at BSC (which is abt 4busstops away frm the mrt) & the mrt was abt 10-15min bus ride frm my work place but upon seeing the rain, my heart was sinking..

Somehow or rather, I started praying.. not for the rain to stop.. but for the rain to be lighter so tt I can attend mass.. I was just telling my colleagues tt I believe the rain will stop so I will not get caught in the rain.

Amazingly, as I was travelling away frm my work place, I realised the rain getting lighter and lighter.. and as I drew nearer to BSC, the rain seemed to have stopped.

Praise God! I arrived in BSC dry.. and after mass, I saw the sun smiling @ me.. Thank God for the kindness and mercy shown..

I was hesitating whether or not to go for mass this evening esp when I see the heavy down pour.. I started praying again.. unknowingly.. I probably thought its a bet w/ God.. If the rain stops when I arrives @ BP LRT stn, I will go for mass.

Indeed.. the heavy downpour stopped.

Thank God! & I am really glad tt I'd made it. I enjoyed and had learned alot during Fr Chua's homily.

Frankly speaking.. these showers of blessings nv end and I'd really lost track of the no. of days such things happened..

For all I know, God has always made it smooth for me to attend mass..Apart frm the 2incidents which had happened, there were many other ocassions whereby I almost couldnt make it to church but w/ God's grace, I'd made it.

Endless of thanksgiving and praise to God.
